Hi, I’m Amy Nelipovich, a native Texan born in Houston with a lifelong love for art. After living in various states across the U.S., I’ve returned to my Texas roots to launch a business that combines my passion for art and community. Based in Austin, I founded Blue Sky Art on Wheels LLC, a mobile art gallery dedicated to showcasing original, one-of-a-kind pieces created by Central Texas artists. My mission is to bring unique, fun, and inspiring artwork to people who might not otherwise encounter it. Art has a way of speaking to individuals in deeply personal ways, creating connections between artists and collectors. I still remember the first piece of art I ever bought—just out of college, with little money to spare, I stumbled upon a small art show on a grassy median in Beverly Hills, CA. I found a piece I simply couldn’t leave without, and that experience cemented my lifelong passion for collecting and supporting artists.

The inspiration for Blue Sky Art on Wheels came during an annual road trip to visit my grandmother in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, in 2014. These trips were always filled with lively conversations, and one particular question sparked something in me: “What would you do if you won the lottery?” Without hesitation, I said, “I’d buy an RV or trailer and travel from city to city, discovering hidden artistic talent. I’d showcase their work and bring it to people everywhere.”

Years later, that dream has become a reality. I’m beyond grateful to be living my passion—supporting talented Texas artists by bringing their work to venues throughout the Hill Country.
